"Giving back to the community" means actively contributing to the well-being of the people and places around you, by volunteering your time, donating resources, or sharing your skills to support local causes and make a positive impact on your neighborhood or wider community.

Hickory Music Factory
Mission: Building futures through music by teaching, performance, and community outreach.
About: The Hickory Music Factory was founded upon the desire to foster an environment of creativity in our community based on music. The organization does so through outreach projects, performances, educational programs, and community development initiatives. Their goal is to provide a musical experience for the individual that is void of all barriers, whether those be from learning differences, financial struggle, or physical ability.
Caldwell House
Mission: To provide a safe and healthy environment for alcoholics and addicts as they recover and re-enter society.
About: Caldwell House was founded to provide alcoholics and drug addicts with a safe and healthy environment, where they can learn to recover from the effects of drug and alcohol abuse and to live meaningful, productive lives. The Caldwell House teaches residents structure, responsibility and accountability, which are key to a person's recovery.
